By July 27, 2018September 19th, 2018News

The Bethany Auxiliary will hold a Rummage Sale to benefit the residents of Bethany Retirement Living on Thursday, August 16.  The event is open to the public.

The Rummage Sale runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will take place at Bethany on 42nd, 4255 30 Ave S, Fargo.  Most items will be sold on a free-will basis.

Members of the Auxiliary, Bethany volunteers, employees, residents and families, and others from the community donate thousands of gently used items to the sale.   Items range from clothing, toys and games, books, décor to furniture.

The Rummage Sale is a fundraiser that enables the Auxiliary to purchase items and services that directly enrich the quality of life for residents of Bethany Retirement Living.  In the past, the Auxiliary has funded such things as blanket warmers, aviaries, soft serve ice cream machines, music and movies, hymnals, and electric lift chairs.

To donate items or for additional information, contact Laurie Schnabel at 701.478.8904 orlschnabel@bethanynd.org or Maren Johnson at 701.239.3246 or mjohnson@bethanynd.org.

Bethany Retirement Living was founded in Fargo in 1939 and is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).  Bethany provides high-quality care to the elderly in skilled nursing, memory care, rehabilitation, transitional care, assisted living, basic care, senior apartments and personal care programs.
