CNA Class FAQ

I’ve applied for the class, what now?

  • A Bethany Human Resources representative will be in contact with you via email to confirm your application and go over CNA Class requirements.

What are the requirements for the CNA Class?

  • Prefer students are Covid-19 vaccinated prior to starting class
  • A negative tuberculosis (TB) test done within the last year
  • $100 payment through PayPal
  • Flu vaccination (during the flu season)

What Identification do I need to take the CNA test?

To be eligible to take the CNA test you are required to show a Social Security Card and Photo ID.

How much does the class cost?

The CNA class is FREE.  There is a $100 fee for the test.

How much does it cost to retake the CNA test?

  • The cost for retaking the CNA exam is $100 even if it is only for one portion of the exam.

How long do I have to take the test after completing the course?

  • You have six months of testing eligibility from the day you completed the course, with a maximum of three test attempts. Example: if you completed the class on July 1, 2020 you have until January 1, 2021 to take and pass your exam.

What if something comes up and I have to miss a day of class?

  • Please be in contact with your instructor as soon as possible. They will go over the options of making up time, if able. (701) 239-3249

What is the dress code for the CNA class?

  • The uniform for class is white top, black or khaki pants, and closed-toed, non-skid shoes.

Do I need to bring anything to the first day of class?

  • A readiness to learn! And a pen.

Where can I park?

  • A welcome email will be sent prior to class starting with pictures of the parking areas.
