Bethany To Hold Syttende Mai Celebrations

Nearly half of residents at Bethany Retirement Living claim some Norwegian Heritage.  In celebration Norway’s Constitution Day, Bethany Retirement Living will be hosting Syttende Mai events at both Fargo campuses. The events are open to the public will be held on Thursday, May 17, and will feature music and a variety of Norwegian foods. Proceeds from the events will be used by the Bethany Auxiliary to purchase items to enrich the quality of life for residents at Bethany.

The Syttende Mai celebration at Bethany on 42nd (4255 30 Ave S, Fargo) will be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and will feature the music by Steve Worner.

The event at Bethany on University (201 University Dr S, Fargo) will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 pm with entertainment provided by Leo Kieffer.

Lefse, sweet soup and rommegrot will be available for sale at both events.
