We at Bethany are here to help healthcare professionals excel in their career by providing them with the resources they need to be successful! Some of the development opportunities that we provide for these professionals are our CNA Training Course, CNA Challenge Test, and CPR Training. Each of these trainings were designed to teach healthcare professionals how to perform the learned skills if and when they would need to, specifically in a healthcare environment.
The CNA Training Course is offered as a first-step for those who are interested in working in long-term care. The course runs Monday through Thursday for three weeks, with the final week consisting of hands-on clinical training. The course ends with an assessment, and upon passing the assessment, learners will then become Certified Nursing Assistants.
We recognize that not every individual learns in the same way, which is why we also offer the CNA Challenge Test. This is for individuals with a medical background who have already been exposed to the material covered in the CNA Training Course, who would like to “challenge” the course and only take the test to then obtain their CNA certification.
The CPR Training provides learners with basic life support skills as a foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest. This training teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for pre-hospital and in-facility situations.
More information on any of these learning opportunities can be found on our website at bethanynd.org under the ‘Careers’ tab, and the ‘Classes’ subtab. There are new course dates being added continually, so if the current options do not work with your schedule make sure to check back when new dates become available! These courses can boost your career and set you on a path for success in your future!
