Thankful Hearts

By November 29, 2016March 23rd, 2021Blog

What a wonderful time of year! Although the temperature is dropping, we find ourselves warm with friends, family and holiday cheer. Our residents have been busy getting ready for the holidays with fun craft events, concerts and festive meals. Soon, the halls of Bethany will be decorated for Christmas! Take a look below to see how residents at Bethany on University are celebrating the holidays.

Although Thanksgiving has come & gone, we can move on through the coming months with thankful hearts and blissful messages in mind like this thoughtful message from Bethany Retirement Living’s Pastor Phil. Let’s remember these words even after the holiday season is over!

“Thanksgiving is a wonderful opportunity to pause and consider the multitude of blessings which embrace our lives. We give thanks for the many tangible gifts such as food, clothing, shelter, friend and family. How fortunate also to have work and income to support our lives. Yet, underneath is all, we also recognize in faith the love of God which accompanies us day after day, without fail. May God give us all deeply grateful hearts for His generous goodness.”
