Wedge Fund Benefits Bethany 2024

The Frank L. Wedge Memorial Fund, administered by the North Dakota Long Term Care Association, has awarded Bethany Retirement Living a grant of $10,000 to support the development of a leadership training program.

Bethany will partner with the University of Mary for the project. The grant provides funding to design and implement a comprehensive program of leadership training. The targeted audience for this training is Bethany employees who serve in a variety of roles with a shared mission o f servant leadership and a desire to grow in ability. The initial cohort will include 25 employees. The training schedule involves a face-to-face modality, customizable to the specific needs of Bethany Retirement Living and the individual participants.

The training will help build cohesive teams at Bethany where members will work more efficiently and effectively to provide high-quality care to residents and patients and good customer service to teammates.

Bethany Retirement Living was founded in Fargo in 1939 and is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Bethany provides high-quality care to the elderly in skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care, rehabilitation, basic care, assisted living, senior apartments, and personal care programs.
